A static IP is an internet address that never changes. Brokers in India now ask that orders sent through their API come from a static IP you have registered with them, whether your system is fast or slow. The simplest way to have one is to run your system on a rented server, because a server comes with its own fixed address. This is how every Zerokriya system is installed.
Brokers explain that the address is tied to you: one address cannot be shared by unrelated people at the same broker, though close family may be allowed to share one under the broker's conditions. The exact rules are set by SEBI, the exchanges and your broker and can change, so confirm them for your account.
With Zerokriya you rent the server in your own name, so the address is yours. We tell you the address to register and check that your broker accepts orders from it during the paper run.
Answer a few quick questions and we reply with what fits. No commitment.
A server is a small computer rented by the month from a hosting company. It stays on all day so your system never depends on your phone or laptop. You rent it in your own name and pay the hosting company directly. We tell you the right size on the call.
Automating trades in your own account through your broker's API is offered by brokers under their own terms and the rules of SEBI and the exchanges, which can include conditions such as a fixed internet address and limits on order speed. You remain responsible for meeting those conditions for your account. We tell you what the software needs so you can check with your broker.
Only with access you give us for installation and support. You can remove that access at any time.
Your server rent and your broker's charges, both paid by you directly to them. Taxes are extra where applicable. We tell you all expected running costs before you pay anything.
